IYEP as part of its core values collaborates with organizations that cater for the vulnerable and afflicted in society. HIV/AIDS is one such projects we contribute.   Volunteers to this project work hand in hand with communities, social workers and health professionals to provide relief to HIV patients. This program fully immerses  participants into the  Ghanain culture with welcoming host families ready to help  participants to integrate and adjust in the host community. 

Job descriptions:  The following are part of typical day to day activities volunteers perform. Counseling, teaching and learning ways of preventing HIV, designing modules for advocacy, administering medication for HIV AIDS patients. It these activities could be carried out at counseling centers at medical centres, schools, rural and urban communities,  and homes of patients. Click here to apply
